Aria Appleton
This is a comedy family oriented film with a musical twist that is directed and written by Nathan D. Myers. It is a typical high school scenario where there are characters that we usually see in the real world. What makes the film unique is the musical theme that it carries. It is an additional attention catcher that can entertain the audience from start till the end of the movie.
Our lead character Aria Appleton which is played by Sara Grace Prejean is an eleven years old girl who aims to reach her stardom status. She plans to do all in her power with the help of her best friends in order to execute her plan in achieving her dream. At some scenes there is a part wherein Aria and her other best friend Lindsay have to separate ways and become rivals in schools. Then there is Naomi, the baby sitter of Aria, she is a senior and doing home school. Aria treats her like a toy even though she is so nice to her. Another character that aria has a problem with is her mother. The mom is always busy on her online business and doesn’t have enough time with Aria. With all of the complications in our lead character’s life, the question now is how will she achieve her goal?
The story will go on the process on change, acceptance and reflection. The moment that she stayed with her baby sitters family due to her mom will be out for two weeks, there will be some change of heart in terms of her unsolicited plan. This is a good things but will she be too late and be in trouble? That’s the exciting part that our audience need to watch the film until the end.
In our life, it is just normal for a young child or teen to set their dreams into reality. The process will be hard and tough, but what is important is that we face it fairly without stepping into others character and life. We can always change for good, attention and popularity is just a temporary thing in this world. There is always someone who will surpass you in the future; the essential thing is to build a good relationship to the people around you that will be there in your life till the end.
The whole cast has done a good job by mixing a good story and musical scenes. It is a kind of entertainment combo that can double the entertainment factor to its film viewers. The scenes are remarkable ones because it will surely give our young audience the values and lesson that can guide them in the present time. We need this kind of movie; a film that has a complete package for the whole family. The entertainment industry should make more movies like this. It has a strong message which can be transmitted through our platform in order to reach the viewer’s all around the world.
