Long Haul
Witness a tear-jerker masterpiece by Bryan Fugal called the Long Haul. This film ventured into one of the most sensitive family issues that some dwell in silence, where families become indifferent and fell apart, and at times, leave children lost and disheartened. I am with utmost regards with director Bryan Fugal’s courage in sharing his story and the risk he took of opening up to the world of the reality that homosexuality doesn’t interfere in fulfilling one’s role as a parent nor lessen the love he has for his child. I would also like to congratulate Jacob Buster and Jeffrey Hanson for an award-worthy performance. A beautiful film indeed worthy of high recognition from overall cinematic quality, to actors, and of course its one of a kind story that warms the heart, opens our mind about acceptance and break us free from boundaries that hinder us from loving unconditionally.
