Running For Hope
Join SUU’s team as they struggle through the lows and highs of running the Grand to Grand Ultra endurance race. Starting September 23, 2018, runners from around the world covered 170 miles over seven days as they traveled from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the Grand Staircase. The three-man SUU team consisted of President Wyatt along with William Heyborne, associate professor of biology and Johnny Oh, director of global engagement. The group dedicated their race as a fundraiser for the future Sorenson Legacy Foundation Child and Family Development Center. The SUU team finished first in the team division at the event.
