The Flowers of Rose – Screenplay

Spread the love

At times, when we face the darkest phase of our life when challenges keep on coming and struggles seem never-ending some of us can’t help but question God’s intention for putting us in that kind of situation. It is the ultimate test of faith, belief, and devotion to the mighty Lord. Often these crossroads lead us to a path of spiritual enlightenment or something much more like receiving personal gifts from God, just like Dr. Jerry Brown.

“God only puts us through as much as we can handle, so the people who struggle the most, have been chosen by God to be the strongest.” This quote speaks a lot about our featured writer Dr. Jerry Brown and his spiritually uplifting feature screenplay “The Flowers of Rose” based on a true story of Dr. Jerry Brown, his six siblings, and their mother Rose, this screenplay tells so much about life and human’s character in responding to it; some with strong faith and trust to God and unfortunately some running low on these fundamentals and are being strayed by the difficulties of their situation. Dr. Jerry Brown used the story of his life to deliver me a story with the most powerful spirituality among all of the screenplays I have read. It was a complete package of drama, action, and above all life lessons that can guide us in this life. I am used to reading screenplays, most of them are outstanding, but I must say that this is the first one that is fulfilling. It made me come to a realization that God always has his instruments to let us know that he is walking by our side, as well as he has gifted many people with the ability to exude his power through words and actions, someone like Dr. Jerry Brown.

“The Flowers of Rose” is a story about life and a mother’s strong connection with God and her devotion to passing it on to her seven children. Though not blessed with a good life. Rose is always hopeful and trusts’ God’s plan for her and her children. Living in Bronx, New York, Rose is challenged to keeping her children safe and raising them as lawful citizens and God fearing. Pound Boy, Buck Wheat, Jerry, Red, Gail, Petey, and Yolanda loves their mother beyond words can describe and they also admire her devotion to the Bible and to God. However, an unfortunate incident happened that shattered everything into small pieces. Small pieces of hope, faith, and happiness that test each and every one of them to put back together. A challenge that Jerry did not falter with the help from the powerful wisdom from the bible he had learned from his mother.

This beautiful screenplay has inspired me to always keep going and trust God’s plan the way Rose and Dr. Jerry Brown did. Sincerely a wonderful story that can strengthen faith, fuels courage despite the struggle, and guide us to an enlightened path to God’s grace. I couldn’t ask for more, but to see this screenplay in action. Congratulations on this remarkably notable screenplay. I hope that Dr. Jerry Brown continues to use the gift he has in making more spiritually life touching screenplays.
