Spread the love

It is important to keep our mental health in a harmonious state. They say that a healthy mind keeps our body and soul healthy. However, at times, it is quite difficult to keep sanity in this crazy world. Often, there are severe life experiences that usually trigger mental health illnesses and unbearable situations that lead to emotional breakdowns, that leaves many of us helpless, broken, and disordered from life and away from reality. Good thing there are psychotherapists or also known as shrinks who always render their time to listen and redirect the path of their patients to a healthy way of thinking and living, in a fair price of course. However, have you ever wondered, how is it like to be a shrink? Or better yet, how are these mind therapists in-between session or after hours? How are they able to contain other people’s problem and at the same time juggling with their own? Who is left to listen and understand their hardship? Well, my friends, those questions just got to have to wait because this film I’m about to share with you all today is undoubtedly better than any kind of clinical intervention out there. Get ready for some dose of nothing but fun and laughter in Roberto Raad’s hilarious short film “Alternative Therapy”

Laughter is indeed the best medicine and director Roberto Raad might just cure your blues in less than ten minutes with his awesome movie Alternative Therapy. I got to warn you though this is epically hilarious! It is contagious! I have not had a good comedy film to review this week, and this short film had me killed by making me laugh my heart out. I had the time of my life laughing. It was entertaining from the very start until the last second. But of course, none of these would be possible without the outstanding performance of the entire cast namely, Mabel Maultsby, Mackenzie Amar, Reagan Pfifer, and our dear director Roberto Raad as the shrink Michael. They were amazing. I love how each of them smoothly shifts the emotion of their characters from serious to hilarious. And the fact that this film was created with a limited budget of $500 just blew me away. From film quality-wise, in general, I wouldn’t have guessed that it was a low budget film, it was excellent in every angle. And I admire the whole team of this movie for its exceptional delivery. It manifests their effort and passion for making this film a success.

In case, you’re feeling a little down lately or haven’t got a good laugh in a while, Alternative Therapy is my top recommendation for a quick fix for that gloom. I’d also like to share how it taught me that it is not bad to let loose a little sometimes, shake off those worries, be silly and free. After all, we are all just humans, life is too short to spend it all with problems. So make sure to catch this film as soon as it is available in your area. You wouldn’t go wrong with this choice, guaranteed satisfaction with every laugh.
