“How to be a PAID Actor in Utah” was a blueprint to success.
Actors poured into the Towne Hub on Saturday to learn actionable items they could do to make a living as an actor in Utah. Panelists included:
MICHELLE CHRISTENSEN – Talent Manager
SKYLER DAY – Child Actor
PAUL CARTWRIGHT – Voice Actor
CHRISTIAN BUSATH – Full Time Actor/Director/Producer
JAMES DAYTON – Commercial Director/Producer
ANDREW LAWRENCE (virtually from LA) – Actor/Director/Producer
The panelists covered topics that actors need to understand to have the most fruitful career: auditioning/ casting, understanding the relationships of actors and the agents/managers, the do’s in don’t of voice acting, and how parents and children work together for a child’s acting career.
“I learned so much by coming to this panel.” said Michale Roberts, local Utah actor. “Plus I got to meet actual directors and producers. I look forward to doing what they said start getting on set more often.”
