Spencer Jarman
Spencer Jarman is an American filmmaker currently residing in Utah. The not on set you can find Spencer learning new skills such as horseback riding to prepare for future roles.
What are some of the projects you have worked on in the last 12 months?
The Chosen, Similitude, Water Babies, Sonder and many commercials
Who is your favorite person on set?
PA’s… They make the world go round. They also ask if you need anything or just walk up and say “How are you doing?”
What project have you worked on that made you a better professional?
The Chosen. It got rid of a little imposter syndrome and after 12 years of acting, I was very calm and confident and ultimately I knew what my job was.
What advice do you have for your fellow actors or for people interested in pursuing acting as a career?
If you are doing it for fun that’s great, I respect that; but if you are really pursuing it as a career, I would say only do it if there is nothing else you can do. It requires too much mental, emotional, spiritual, physical energy to be half in. So if you’re gonna take the journey, just know its a marathon and you have to sacrifice to succeed.
