Kara Schaaf

Kara Schaaf is an actress in American that has appeared in over 20 productions over the past few years. 

What are some of the projects you have worked on in the last 12 months?

I signed a NDA for the last project I was on, so I can’t say too much. Even though the part was small, the experience was amazing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Everyone was so wonderful to work with on this film.

Who is your favorite person on set?

That is a difficult question to answer! I have met the most amazing people on set in all departments. Although, I would definitely love to acknowledge the hard working and awesome PAs.

What project have you worked on that made you a better professional?

Filming Let’s Dream (on Amazon Prime and Tubi) was one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences I’ve ever had. I knew when I was offered the part it was going to be one of the most challenging roles I’d ever accepted. Yet, I knew I needed to do this. Every cell in my body said yes. The process of filming could at times be grueling; the weather, no sleep, hours, bugs, dirt, travel time, etc. However, I never lost the love for it. The full commitment to it, showing myself how much I truly love what I do, I wouldn’t change that for the world.

What advice do you have for your fellow actors or for people interested in pursuing acting as a career?

I would say remember to have fun! Remember to love what you do, all of it. It’s not a destination, it’s a journey. Celebrate all of the steps.
