Day Zero Season 3 Coming to Theaters and Amazon

Day Zero the Series completed post-production on its third season and held a private screening wrap party on October 14, 2022 at the Towne Hub theater in American Fork, Utah.

The post-apocalyptic and dystopian webseries “Day Zero” was the first indie web series to appear on Amazon Prime back in 2011. Season 3 follows ‘Father John’, a wandering monk who becomes a hero to a remnant of survivors against the backdrop of a post-nuclear America rifed with a global science experiment of radiated humans called ‘Hybrids’, as they set themselves up against governmental control of life and liberty across the land.

This season stars local favorites Shawn Stevens, Eric McGraw, Carter Blanc, Calbert Beck and Kabrina Miller, with numerous guest stars, both recurring and new, and was filmed primarily in Heber City, Utah.

Cal Nguyen is the writer, cinematographer, director, editor and executive, with Danielle Neveraski and Nathan Steve Smith as associate producers.

Day Zero Season 3 is expected to resume a festival run starting with the 4th quarter of 2022 into 2023 and beyond, along with the remaining four episodes to round out its Amazon Video catalog.
