Andersen and the Jinn

Rogier van Beeck Calkoen gives us a beautiful and wondrous short film in “Andersen and the Jinn” I love where our director got his inspiration and how he innovated the story. He gave an adventurous and romantic adaptation to Han Christian Anderson’s character and ventured further into the tale of One Thousand and One Nights and its gorgeous and fierce Princess Scheherazade. Not only was I captivated by the story, but the location was also absolutely stunning, I was completely mesmerized. It was like going back into time, and you would not want to come back. This movie is a must-see, and I guarantee you that the next time you visit a historical or ancient place, you’ll never see it the same way ever again.
