Spread the love

If you love to watch crime drama themed films like the Sons of Anarchy and the like, then “Blood Red” is the piece of taste you are craving to see. This movie is done with a passion to bring back the love for a story with an exciting twist. There may be violence but this is what makes the film exciting and the audience will want to see more of it.

Co-Directors Dutch Lane and Lucas Millhouse have done a good job in making the film. They laid out a path that viewers will want to explore more of after watching the movie. The tone that they set will likely get you hooked just like me because I cannot get over from one scene to the other and upon reaching the climax I was hoping this short could be a feature or series.

When it comes to the story, writer and producer Lyssa Monson definitely was all in. The plot has a lot of twists and turns. It will get you asking what will happen next like “who is the rat in the story”? These are the things that make the viewers get excited about the film. Its elements will leave a mark in everyone’s mind.

Lyssa Monson is also one of the key casts that played the role of “Sara”. She delivered excellent performance that shows her professionalism. She is a talented individual that honed her skills in acting, writing and compounded that with being a producer. It is rare to have someone with unique skills and she is definitely a rising player in the industry. Another key cast member is Shawn Stafford. Because of the two talented actors, the film definitely is a engaging film that viewers like me enjoy.

It is also notable to say that the art direction (set, props, location) help make the movie more real. As I watched it, I can say that it looks like they are a real mob crew. They never hold back and they did it by going the extra mile in detail of the film.

For me, I would say that “Blood Red” is a promising film that can make it in the mainstream of the entertainment industry. It could be the next big thing in terms of its crime-themed drama. This is usually what people want while resting on a weekday night. The whole staff is commendable, and I cannot wait to see more from these talented filmmakers.
