Filmmaker – Spencer Fackrell

Premiering my feature film at the Utah International Film Festival was an unforgettable experience. The festival team worked hard to keep things running smoothly, and while there were a few hiccups along the way (as is often the case with events of this scale), they handled everything with professionalism and positivity. Dora Workman, the incredible festival director, personally responded to my emails and questions, which made the process even better.

What really stood out to me was how they brought together such a diverse group of industry professionals. It was inspiring to connect with so many talented people. Winning the award for Best Narrative Feature was an incredible privilege and honor. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I’m so glad I got to be part of it, and I’d absolutely recommend this festival to other filmmakers.
