Journey Home

Christopher Houlston’s short drama “Journey Home” had me in tears. It tells the story of a soldier who came home to his wife but silently battles the emotional and mental trauma, also known as PTSD, that he endured during his service. Conflicted to tell his wife of his suffering, it starts to deteriorate their communication and relationship. But little did his wife know that there is more to just the trauma of the war that has been troubling the thoughts of her husband. The climax of the film is very emotional. Kudos to lead actor Mike Bodie for a heartfelt and excellent performance.
