The Vanished
The Vanished has been selected to play at the Utah Film Festival, Saturday October 1st at the Towne Hub in American Fork UT.
Written and Directed by Devin Hansen, The Vanished follows a team of female hikers venture and are lost in the cold winter mountains, as an unknown creature continues to stalk them.
This is Devin Hansen’s 9th film with several more films in various stages of production.
“I was introduced to the film industry through a very good friend of mine” said Devin Hansen.
“He decided to give me a very wonderful opportunity to see what the film industry was all about. Having never gone to film school, I took a chance on it. Learning from being hands on and working on set, I asked a lot of questions, and developed many skills over the last 5 years. Turns out that film became the last thing I ever expected to do to pursue a passionate career. Since then I’ve been so fortunate to work in so many big projects here in Utah.”
The Vanished stars Crystal Harris, Kindra Buras, Tanya Price, Lenni Uitto, Jennica Anusua, Cari Stewart, Jessica Makenzie Marshall, Yvonne Bass, Austinn Jensen, and Whitney Rivers.
The talented crew consists of Cary W. LeMonds as executive producer, music by Mattia Cupelli, makeup by Andria Martinez, boom ops Doran L Barton, Jared Price, and Jessica Whitley. Isidore Barhanywerha Kadurha as key grip, and Cari Stewart and script supervisor.
