Spread the love

For every filmmaker, the journey doesn’t end when the final cut is locked. The real challenge, and the ultimate goal, is getting your film seen—not just by audiences, but by the industry professionals who can launch your career. The big question always is: how do you break through the noise and get your work in front of distributors?

After years of research and conversations with filmmakers and industry executives, we’ve confirmed what many have long suspected: distributors are actively looking for new content, but they love discovering it through a trusted filter. A film festival selection acts as powerful third-party validation, signaling that a film is worth their time.

At the Utah International Film Festival (UIFF), we’ve made bridging this gap our mission. We don’t just want to screen your film; we want to help you get it sold.

This year, we are thrilled to be teaming up with an incredible and growing roster of distributors and sales representatives. These are companies covering a vast range of genres and formats, and many of them have a proven track record of acquiring UIFF-selected films.

We’re excited to announce the first round of industry partners who will be considering films from this year’s official selection.
