Volvere – Marlon Gonzalez
SALT LAKE CITY, March, 4th, 2023- After nearly a two-year absence from the film industry, Multiple Award-Winning director, Marlon Gonzalez has released the trailer for his highly anticipated new film titled “Volvere” (I’ll Be Right Back). The film contains a stellar ensemble including Christopher Gallegos, Payton Prince, Kristin Gurney, Oliver Gurney, Manuel Gonzalez, Neyda De La Pena & Paige Mitton.
The story follows a character named Felipe Lopez (Gallegos), an undocumented immigrant living in the U.S., who finds out that his mother is dying in his town in Mexico. He has to make the tough decision to either stay with his wife who is expecting their first child or return to his hometown at risk of not being able to come back.
Based on multiple early private screenings of the film, It’s described as a beautiful, emotional, and raw piece of cinema with many praising its directing, screenplay, cinematography, production design, editing, score, and ensemble.

The film is already expected to become a strong contender for the upcoming independent festival and award circuit in 2023. Principle photography wrapped in late 2021 with Gonzalez & rising up-incoming producer Ben Fraser at the helm of the production. Multiple Award-Winning Cinematographer, Easton Parkhurst, serves as the director of photography while Spencer Sheffield leads in the editing. The film is expected to premiere at the Zions Indie Film Festival on March 18th, 2023.
