Lorenzo Hubbert, a student film director from Brigham Young University, offers a heartwarming comedy titled “A Last Hope” This short film tells the story of a man with autism by the name of Lucas (Alexander Dais) who struggles in understanding and dealing with the passing of his father. Teamed up as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in every party, now he has to do it by himself, as his father, Darth Vader. The film reflects how a person with autism sees the world, particularly people. Sometimes they see more and magnify the reality of it better than the normal ones can tolerate. This is a wonderful film, plus it had some funny parts that even out the feel of the story. Great performance too from Alexander Dais!
