Porter Rockwell – Gunman and Saint tells the story of 3 men that have been located by the famous LDS folk hero Porter Rockwell. 

Orrin Porter Rockwell was a frontiersman, Utah pioneer and plainsman, and reputed Mormon “Destroying Angel.” This controversial and colorful figure was characterized in newspapers and journals of his day as a notorious gunman and religious zealot. 

As a “proof of concept” filmmaker Alberto Nunes hopes to tell the whole story of Rockwell in a feature film. 

The film stars Jasen Wade (Out of Liberty, 17 Miracles) in the title role supported by the talents of Brock Roberts, Shane Morrisun, Ayden Tyler Hatch, Erin Dinner Bjorn, Jacob Wykes, Lydia Bennett, Easton Lyons, Anabel Munoz, Matthew DelaFuente and Matthew Dougal. 

The screenwriter is Robert Hill, cinematography by Carter Fawcett, art direction by Madison Mackay, set decoration by Matheus Borges Nunes, costumes by Patrick Hayes and Will Cowden, HMU by Stacey Berrett, sound mixing by Marcus Croston.  The camera department consisted of Matthew C.S. Julander as gaffer, Abram Iman and Joseph Siino as grips, Asher Huskinson as 1st AC, and Caleb Keller as drone operator. Rex Nelson and Lisa Paul severed as production assistants on the film.
